Isamu Sakamoto, senior adviser of Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd., writes Mr. C. W. Protzman introducing himself. He shares that he worked under Mr. Inoue until Inoue was transferred to Sumitomo Rubber Co. Sakamoto says that the Japan Productivity Center has asked him to deliver a speech on management that will be given in Los Angeles and New York. He informs Protzman that he is writing a draft of his speech in which he intends to describe the improvement of productivity and quality level under the guidance of American instruction. Sakamoto goes on to ask Protzman if he may quote his writing for the speech. The letter contains Sakamoto's original signature.
