Morning & evening costume for February, 1816. Left: Light pink ankle length dress. Empire waist has a scooped ruffled neckline. Short cap sleeves have ruffles at bottom. Three ruffled tiers at the hem of the dress. Accessories include blue shawl with fringed edges and pearl necklace. Right: Blue ankle length pelisse with long sleeves. Empire waist with a high neck. Dress front and hem is lined with pink. White chemise with ruffled hem revealed underneath. Accessories include white gloves, monocle on gold chain, and pink and blue bonnet.
