Description
Shown is the Tower Bridge of Sacramento, California, circa 1980. Built in 1935, the Tower Bridge replaced the M Street Bridge (built in 1911) to accommodate higher volumes of traffic. It solved the transportation problem of the M Street Bridge as it could not be widened.
