"Looking east from Elk's Club on Colorado street, Pasadena, in the eighties (photographs, courtesy of Security First National Bank)" -- typed note attached to verso. "Received Examiner reference library May 12, 1929" -- stamped on verso. Although the note attached to verso says "in the eighties", the photograph was apparently taken in the late 1920s: it features a number of automobiles of typical 1920s models. Streetscape.
