Made accessible through a grant from the John Randolph Haynes and Dora Haynes Foundation and Photo Friends.
Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated May 7, 1965 reads, "Dr. Hubert Eaton, founder and board chairman of Forest Lawn, looks on as a giant crane raises the reproduction of Boston's historic Old North Church at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills. The original was built in 1723 and on the night of April 18, 1775 the steeple glowed with two lanterns, signaling Paul Revere that the British were coming by sea. The steeple, authentic even to the weather vane and two lanterns, completes the three basic Court of Liberty monuments."
