Speakers Series at the California State Railroad Museum in 1996. In his presentation, "Putting on the Big Hat," Dr. Willie Collins discusses the history of Red Cap Porters in Oakland, California. In the following presentation, "Holding the Fort" William Alfred Spires discusses the labor history of the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters.
