Description
A child Contra soldier looks at the camera while holding his weapon in front of him. He has a knife strapped to his belt and has illegible handwriting on his left hand. In the background, there are two adult men that are Contra soldiers. One of them is wearing an olive-green cap and has his left hand on his waist. The other one is wearing a black beret and holding a field radio. They are members of the Nicaraguan Democratic Force (FDN in Spanish), whose members are known informally as "Contras."
