Description
Bob Roche of the Redevelopment Agency views the progress of the West End building program. Image was taken from the roof of the Fruit exchange Building on 4th and J Streets. Macy's Department Store construction is on the bottom right, facing K Street. The large steel skeleton is the State Pension building flanked by the Federal and Courts buildings. Other construction includes IBM, Wells Fargo, and American Trust Bank, all facing Capitol Ave.
