“The Worshipper and his god. The stone is supposed to look like an Elephant’s head – it is worshipped as Ganesh [Ganesha]. Near Bairat.” View of large stone being prayed to by man. Ganesh [Ganesha] is a Hindu deity commonly depicted as having the head of an elephant. ❧ United Free Church of Scotland photographs from the Rajputana mission.
