Photograph caption dated October 24, 1955 reads "These four pretty Valley coeds will compete for UCLA Homecoming queen and attendant posts at annual Homecoming Week show tonight at Royce Hall auditorium. Queen and court will be crowned at noon tomorrow at Janss Steps ceremony. They will reign at UCLA-California football game in Coliseum Saturday. They are Linda McCausland, 20, Sherman Oaks; Phyllis McMeen, 18, Woodland Hills; Norma Young, 20, North Hollywood, and Judith Ann Friedrich, 21, Burbank."
