Description
This circa 1937 postcard shows Sacramento's U.S. Post Office and Federal Building, as seen between two elms and from Plaza Park at Ninth and I Streets. The Post Office was built in 1933 and the park, bordered by I and J Streets and Ninth and Tenth Streets, was bequeathed to the City of Sacramento by John A. Sutter, Jr., to be used "for public purposes.
