Description
Photograph of the Los Angeles Camera Club's float for Los Angeles' La Fiesta Parade, ca.1901. A horse-drawn carriage decorated from top to bottom with flowers stands at center, surrounded by horsemen in sombreros and white suits. The float holds four rows of women clothed in similar lightly-colored dresses, not including the two women who sit up front with the coachman. A banner extending from the top of the coach identifies the club. A two-story building with a balcony that appears to be a hotel is visible in the background, along with a brick building to the right.
