Description: The Farmers' Bank of Wheatland was incorporated October 22, 1874. It was purchased by the Bank of Italy on April 22, 1924, which became the Bank of America on November 3, 1930.
The Banks of Wheatland Collection (c. 1870 1930) contains an assortment of wills, deeds, insurance policies, and mortgages done through, or for, The Farmers Bank of Wheatland and The Bank of Italy, Wheatland Branch. Alongside these documents are also a few accounting ledgers and some miscellaneous correspondence not tied to the above mentioned banks.
