Title supplied by cataloger. McKinley Home for Boys was a community chest (Red Feather) agency and had homes in San Dimas, Van Nuys and Sherman Oaks. The Sherman Oaks home was located at 13840 Riverside Drive.; Marguerite Corey and LeRoy Widener met during bimonthly visits to the McKinley Home where their sons were living. According to the newspaper article "Both parents felt the youngsters, each minus one parent, would be better cared for in the home...The common interest in their children's welfare offered a common ground to the year's courtship that followed."
