The "Castle" was a large Queen Anne style house originally located at 325 S. Bunker Hill Ave. Built around 1882, and once owned by Daniel Donegan, the home was moved to Heritage Square in 1969 to be restored. However, after the building was relocated, it was burned to the ground by arsonists. A large Bunker Hill house, the Castle, is in two parts, jacked up, and ready to be moved to Heritage Square. A glimpse of the Department of Water and Power Building, later the John Ferraro Building, is visible on the left.
