Description
Native Indian Xipetotec dancers in spectacular headdresses entertain the crowd at 1st and Ditman streets during the 47th Mexican Independence Day parade. Over 500,000 persons lined the streets for the parade which began at 1st and Lorena streets and ended at Belvedere County Park. The event is sponsored by the Comite Mexicano Civico y Patriotico. Photograph is dated September 11, 1988.
