Description
Hollywood director William Desmond Taylor was murdered Feb. 2, 1922 and the crime went unsolved. It was determined that his real name was actually William Deanne-Tanner. Shown here is Mrs. Ada Deanne-Tanner, the wife of his brother Denis. She brought to police pictures and handwriting samples of her long-missing husband and proved to them that he was not the Taylor valet, Edward Sands, who was being sought for questioning. Similar to 00010902.
