Description
View of the intersection at Washington Boulevard and Western Avenue. It shows a corner drug store with two large ads on the side of the wall that read: "Uptown shopping center, Western Ave., between 10th and Melrose" and "Weaver-Jackson permanent wave. Absolutely guaranteed". To the right of that building is Monarch Radio station, with a huge radio antenna on its roof. Several more storefronts next to that are visible, along with a single-file row of cars along the street. This corner appears to be a four-way stop intersection, as no street lights are visible; there is a "Stop" banner hanging from the trolley wires up above the traffic.
