Some of the other structures seen here have since been demolished and replaced. Looking north from Vermont Avenue (center) at 51st Street (left). A Von's market (later spelled as Vons) is seen on the northwest corner of the intersection (left). Included within the market, according to the small neon sign in the upper left, is a Van de Kamp's bakery.
