This is a vintage print signed, titled, and dated in pencil by the artist on verso; artist's wet stamp also on verso. The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. Looking out from the photographer's car reveals a freight train traveling southbound on the bridge over the Arroyo Seco and the Pasadena Freeway in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Garvanza. Santa Fe Hill is present in the background. Photograph dated December 1989.
