Photograph caption dated May 21, 1962 partially reads, "Valley pilots and their co-pilots ready for competition in the 12th All-Women International Air Race. Lola Ricci of Studio City, right, and her co-pilot Elizabeth Crowley...will leave Tuesday for Houston, where the race will begin May 29. After flying over swamps, ocean waters, mountains and deserts, the pilots will land in Nassau May 31."; See images #00132354 through #00132355 for all photos in this series.
