Photograph caption dated March 10, 1954 reads "One of the little-known beauty spots a short drive from the San Fernando Valley is secluded Sherwood Lake in Hidden Valley, off Ventura boulevard not far from Calabasas. Rugged volcanic rock formations like the mountainous mass rising beyond the lake are typical of the spectacular mountain scenery in the primitive fastness of the Malibu Mountains between the Pacific Ocean and the inland valleys."; See images #00122149 through #00122156 for all photos in this series.
