Photograph caption dated December 19, 1958 reads "With aid of pie plate, filled with muddy water, Boy Scout Normand Bilodeau, 10827 Lamkins St., Sun Valley, member of Troop 150, demonstrates method of distance judging. Youth was one of 150 Scouts participating in annual Sun Valley District Boy Scout Field Day. By catching reflection of tall tree in distance, Scout won contest by correctly estimating the distance between two points."; See images #00031568 and #00140947 through #00140951 for all photos in this series.
