Description
Dr. Edward F. Rice, pastor of the Ascension Lutheran Church, trapped a burglar, Charles H. Rolf, who had attempted to rob the church. Rev. Rice is holding the 12-gauge, unloaded shotgun he used to capture the burglar and is shown with children from the Ascension Lutheran School and his dog, Niger. Photo dated: February 13, 1952.
