Photograph caption dated May 9, 1950 reads "This is Burmen's Men's Shop at the new location, 6053 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood. The first Burmen store was opened in 1927 on Weddington St. The new shop carries a complete line of men's wear plus a wide selection of domestic and imported woolens."
