"New buildings in the Civic Center -- Steelwork for a new state office building, foreground, and Los Angeles County Administration Building, background, take shape Sept. 10 as construction goes forward on new building in the Civic Center in Los Angeles. The 12-million dollar state building is slated for completion in 1960. The County Administration Building will cost 21 million. In center background is the County Court House, a 24-million-dollar structure, which will be dedicated on October 31 and at right center is the new County Law Library, which cost $1,200,000." -- typed note attached to verso.
