Photograph caption dated April 17, 1965 reads "Los Angeles Police Chief William H. Parker tries out new computer system, Auto-Statis, now installed throughout California to provide immediate information on auto thefts. Looking on is Mrs. Icek Davis, supervisor of the new department which will feed data to be relayed to Auto-Statis headquarters in Sacramento."
