Lægemissionær Else Høilund. (19.10.1917-16.06.2014). Udsendt af Dansk Santalmission til Nordindien (og senere Bangladesh), 1946-79. Gennem mange år arbejdede hun i West Bengal, først i Nimasarai, Malda og fra 1952 i Rajadighi, hvor der med støtte fra den indiske regering blev bygget et hospital, Rajadighi Christian Hospital, som blev indviet i 1954 med dr. Description: Medical Missionary Else Høilund. (19.10.1917-16.06.2014). Sent by the Danish Santal Mission to North India (and later Bangladesh), 1946-79. For many years she worked in West Bengal, first in Nimasarai, Malda and from 1952 in Rajadighi where a hospital was built - with support from the Indian Government. The Rajadighi Christian Hospital was inaugurated in 1954 with Dr. Else Høilund as the leader. (See also later portrait).
