Photograph caption dated January 26, 1961 reads, "Mrs. George Dames of Burbank will wear ball gown in re-embroidered lace which she purchased in Paris on her last European trip. Rose patterned lace is made in sheath silhouette with double bands of velvet forming straps over shoulders. White gloves complete costume."
