Photograph of a panoramic view of Ventura looking toward the pier and ocean, ca.1945. Multiple buildings are visible directly next to one another at center. Signs are visible on the buildings are center reading, "Hibbs", "Karl's", "Kirby's", and "Scott's Apparel". A road is visible running horizontally across the foreground on a grassy hill above the city, while two other roads lined with parked cars run vertically through the buildings towards the ocean in the background. A pier juts into the ocean at center.
