Photograph of a steamboat on Lake Tahoe, looking west from Tahoe Tavern with Boundary Pass at left, ca.1910. The steamboat can be seen from the front at center. The smoke is billowing to the left. Snow can be seen on the mountains in the background beyond the calm lake. Clouds can be seen in the sky. The Southern Pacific Railroad Steamer was built in 1876 and sank during the summer of 1940. It is now lying in 400 feet of water.
