Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on November 10, 1978 states: "Sacramento County Sheriff Duane Lowe, seated at left in front row, and Sacramento Police Chief Jack Kearns, seated center, watch as cheerleaders for the Pig Bowl do a routine at a preview dinner for the big game which will be played Jan. 20 at Hughes Stadium. Wednesday's dinner helped set the stage for the annual football game between sheriff's deputies and city officers. Proceeds from the game go to the local charities."
