Description
A poster showing a grotesque figure of a "men'shevik" (a member of a smaller fraction of the Russian Social Democratic Workers Party [RSDRP] which often confronted the Bolsheviks -- their political opponents inside the party) followed by a Tsarist General, a priest, a capitalist and a symbolic figure of death. Caption reads, "Osteregaites' men'shevikov i eserov: za nimi idut tsarskie generaly, popy i pomeshchiki" meaning, "Stay away from the mensheviks and SRs (members of the Social-Revolutionary Party): behind them, there are Tsarist generals, clergy and the landlord class".
