Abraham Rabinovich discusses his book, “The Yom Kippur War.” He begins by discussing the role of the generals in the Yom Kippur War and how the soldiers in the field played a stronger role then the generals. He talks specifically about the importance of General Ariel Sharon. Rabinovich discusses the events leading up to the War and the reluctance of the Israeli officials to believe that war was eminent. He goes on to explain his research for this book and share his experiences interviewing veteran soldiers. Later in the interview he reviews and gives his opinion on the current state of affairs in the Middle East.
