Description: Photo shows some of the newly-elected officers of the National Society, Army of the Philippines, who were chosen in a convention session held at the Alexandria Hotel in connection with the national convention of the United Spanish War Veterans. Left to right: Joseph S. Wood of Boston, re-elected secretary and treasurer; Frank S. Lawrance of Glendale, the new junior vice commander; Capt. William J. Ayres of Goshen, Va., the new commander; and Major Thomas W. Long of Glendale, who heads the Los Angeles camp of the organization, August 24, 1933.
