Description
The structure, designed by architect Claude Beelman and built in 1955, was originally the Superior Oil Co. Building and later the Downtown Standard Hotel.
Pedestrians are standing on the northeast corner of Flower Street, shown, at 6th Street in front of the Bank of California building.
