Photograph of the Royal Hawaiian Band on the S.S. Ohio during the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce's voyage to Hawaii, 1907. In the center area, a group of men dressed in white uniforms are each holding a musical instrument with music stands in front of them. A crowd of people is surrounding them. All individuals are standing aboard on the deck. Towards the back of the ship, the mast with two long wooden poles located horizontally above the people, the chimney pipe surrounded by additional smaller pipes, and several auxiliary boats are visible. In the far background, what appears to be a dock area is noticeable, showing a residential area and further to the back mountains fill in the backdrop.
