Western Ave, on the NE corner of 9th and Western, in Los Angeles, California. He bought the dealership from Spencer Kennelly during the first week of November in 1929. When "the Crash" hit at the end of the month, he promised his employees that they would "all eat and make it through the Depression if they stayed with him."
