Description: North India, Santal Parganas. The Nursing School at Mohulpahari Hospital, founded by the American Missionary and Nursing Teacher, Alice Axelson in 1953, as a 2-year nursing/midwifery training program, from 1956 with official recognition. The training developed over the years. And in 1968 the school was extended with a new building and upgraded to a General Nursing Training School, with a 3-year program.
