Segments include taped commentary from Enrique Romero about youth profiling and student dress codes; Juan Espinoza editorial on the Committee to Ban Labeling of Raza Youth; discussion of PG&E rate increases and cost of living; studio interview with Joe Derado (?), director of the Concilio de la Raza, about potential programs and uses for proposed Fuller neighborhood center; Juan Espinoza editorial regarding La Familia Counseling Service. Barrio Expressions was a community access television show documenting Chicanx and Latinx life in the East San Francisco Bay Area. It ran on Hayward cable television from 1976-1985. While the shows were filmed primarily in the Hayward area, they include stories from around the East Bay and San Jose. The show aired weekly, with 26 episodes per year.
