Description
Professor Oyama, dean of engineering, at Tokyo University, and Professor Kimagai, of Osaka University, representing the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan, presented F. A. Polkinghorn with a scroll to express their appreciation during a recent visit to the United States. Mr. Polkinghorn's paper, "A Talk to Future Communications Engineers," appeared in the October 1950 issue of The Electrical Review. The document is in Polkinghorn's original handwriting, and was probably copied by him.
