Photograph caption dated October 7, 1960 reads, "Mrs. Etta Thurmond, health chairman, Sequoia PTA, visits Van Nuys headquarters of D Battery, 4th Missile Battalion, 65th Artillery, to sign donors for unit's depleted bloodbank. Battalion has pledged 10 pints. Prospective donors are Henry Bannon, SP4, and Frank Segura, SP4, from left. Bloodmobile will be stationed at Sequoia Wednesday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. for member donations."
