Description: Southeast corner of the 1st Street and Broadway intersection. Bancroft-Whitney Company, publisher of law books, has a place on the 1st Street side. Ogee's restaurant at the corner with Mexico City Cafe to the right. Los Angeles Transit Lines' Line 6 bus going north on Broadway. 1949-50 Ford wagon leaving the intersection at left. Los Angeles Times building complex in surrounding background.
