''Willy Mazwi, ordinierter Geistlicher in Mvenyane" ("Willy Mazwi, ordained clergyman in Mvenyane"). This photograph shows Mazwi, sitting and wearing a suit. William S. Mazwi, born in 1861 in Gosen (South Africa), was an indigenous brother of the Moravian Church. He worked as a teacher in Gosen from 1882 till 1898, as a national assistant in Elukolweni and in 1900 till 1904 as a mission assistant in Mvenyane, Nxotshane / Griqualand (1904-1931) and Silo (1933). He retired in 1935.
