Description
Photograph caption dated November 21, 1953 reads "Wintry blasts roaring across San Fernando Valley practically stripped tall palm trees along Sherman Way. Here fronds tossed by wind are piled in 15900 block to dismay of motorists. Forty mile an hour wind gusts dropped temperatures but damage was light."
