Olive St., Orange, climbs from a helicopter at Los Angeles International Airport to greet her son, LaVerne W. Browne, right, chief test pilot for the El Segundo Division of Douglas Aircraft Company, Inc., with whom she plans to spend Mother's Day weekend at his home in Palos Verdes Estates. Although she's flown across country several times, the spry octogenarian admitted it was her first 'copter ride and "real thrilling." Her son who was born and raised in Orange, will be remembered by many as movie actor John Trent of "Tailspin Tommy" fame. Douglas Aircraft Co,pany, Inc. El Segundo Division. ORegon 8-8211, Ext. 1521.
