Photograph caption dated August 23, 1954 reads, "Owner Theodore Levy and unidentified policeman are searching through ruins of Sherman Oaks dry cleaning plant which was destroyed by bomb blast. Explosion caused $50,000 damage, shattered neighborhood windows and knocked nearby resident out of bed."
