Photograph of an exterior view of the front of Mission Santa Cruz, 1934. The adobe mission stretches across the entire image. The chapel is at left and is a tall single-story adobe building with a terracotta tile roof. A tall bell tower is attached to the chapel at left. At center is a long, low adobe building with a covered porch and a terracotta roof. There are four vertical rectangular windows and an open doorway cut into the wall. The lawn in front of the mission is neatly cut and decorated with small bushes. There is an asphalt parking lot in the foreground.
