View is of Wilshire Boulevard, looking northwest near Alvarado Street. This photograph was taken prior to the Wilshire construction, and shows light traffic flowing along the street. Visible in the distance are the Asbury Apartments, designed by Norman W. Alpaugh & Clarence H. Russel in 1924; and the Elks Building, designed by Curlett and Beelman and built between 1923-1924, it would later be called the Park Plaza Hotel.
