Photograph caption dated July 28, 1954 reads, "Bill White, left, who lives in North Hollywood in the winter and operates White's Lodge on Lake Mamie in the summer, admires a string of rainbow and brown trout taken out of Duck Lake by North Hollywood's young Bill Strong and Eric Carpenter, and dad Carpenter. The boys and the elder Carpenter packed into the Sierra Lake for two days; came out with two full limits of trout."
